The swarm uses open source tools to make AI easily available. It runs on a distributed network of computers and worker nodes are rewarded with Chia cryptocurrency. The swarm is a work in progress.

The swarm uses machine learning models licensed under CreativeML OpenRAIL-M which stipulates specific rights and usage but also indicates:
You can't use the model to deliberately produce nor share illegal or harmful outputs or content
The swarm claims no rights on the outputs you generate, you are free to use them and are accountable for their use which must not go against the provisions set in the license
